2023 Fond du Lac County Breakfast On The Farm

The Agromatic family is proud to have one of our own hosting such a popular event, as Kurt works as a sales representative for the company.

Both he and Sarah also are active volunteers at their church, the Wisconsin Holstein Association (for which Kurt is a board member), and in other youth organizations. The Loehr’s have two daughters, Adella and Ainsley, who show cattle and actively help on the farm.

Kurt and Sarah’s registered herd is well known and respected in the dairy industry. In 2019, the duo received the Distinguished Young Holstein Breeder award from the Wisconsin Holstein Association and in 2020 were recognized by Holstein Association USA with its Distinguished Young Breeder award.

The farm currently milks 56 cows and has a BAA of 112.5.

Over the years, the Loehr’s herd has included more than 100 Excellent cows, and Forest Ridge Holsteins has bred and developed numerous all-American and junior all-American nominations in both the black and white, and red and white Holstein categories.

In addition, Sartori has recognized this top herd with a Milk Quality Award for the past 8 years.

Kurt says they are excited to host this annual event and provide a way to “educate the public on the quality of care we give our cattle every day.”

In his role with Agromatic he works with dairy farms around the country and says a highlight has been learning about the dairy industry in the western states. Kurt explains that his perspective has really broadened through these experiences, while also providing him a way to help farms problem-solve their unique challenges through the Agromatic offerings.

“I am grateful to be able to give firsthand knowledge on the products we sell, using many of them myself,” he says.

Kurt and Sarah invite the community to join them on June 25 for the 2023 Fond du Lac County Breakfast on the Farm, sponsored by the Envision Greater Fond du Lac Agribusiness Council.
