When we last met with Arizona Dairy they were just a year into their new location in Gila Bend. A year later, the benefits of the KRAIBURG KURA milking parlor mats have become even more apparent. These high quality rubber mats, provided by Agromatic, are designed specifically for durability and comfort, offering a stable, cushioned surface that significantly eases the daily routines of the dairy's 3,400 cows.

Justin Stewart, owner of Arizona Dairy, reiterates the importance of milking parlor floor mats in their operations: "We really wanted our cows to have a level of comfort walking into the barn, nice and easy and just easy flowing. Cow comfort, that's the name of the game for us. So that was the main reason. And those mats stood out to me for stability."

Advancing Reproductive Technology with On-Site IVF Lab

Another significant stride for Arizona Dairy this year has been the development of their on-site IVF (In vitro fertilization) lab, the first of its kind in Arizona. This facility leverages advanced technology to enhance the dairy’s breeding program, facilitating up to 40 donors weekly in a controlled environment where comfort is paramount—aided by the same KRAIBURG KURA milking parlor floor mats used throughout their facilities.

"We just opened it up here a couple months ago, and, we installed Agromatic mats" says Justin. "We run about anywhere from 20 to 40 donors every week. So it makes it pretty handy to have a kind of a climate controlled area, air conditioned and heated. That way we can bring the donors in and right back out to their holding pens outside."

...it was really, really important for us to have a great relationship with Agromatic.
And they responded timely. And that's what it's about, right.

Strengthening Partnerships and Community Ties

The success of Arizona Dairy over the past year has also been supported by robust partnerships with Agromatic and United Dairymen of Arizona. These relationships have been crucial, especially in navigating the post-pandemic supply chain challenges. "Obviously, after, Covid, things were delayed." reflects Justin. "And so it was really, really important for us to have a great relationship with Agromatic. And they responded timely. And that's what it's about, right."

Community engagement remains a key pillar for Arizona Dairy, with an open-door policy that invites the public to witness and engage with modern dairy operations. "Well, our door is always open." Justin adds. "So just give us a call... And come and visit and say hello."

Justin and his team have immense pride and a deep commitment to producing nutritious, wholesome food for the nation. They focus not just on dairy farming, but on nurturing a cycle of health and wellness that benefits both cows and consumers.

One can feel the passion in Justin's words. "It's a privilege for us at Arizona Dairy and probably a lot of dairies across the country to make good, wholesome food for the country and for the world for that matter. We take a lot of pride in taking care of our cows, by using Agromatic mats for cow comfort. When you milk a thousand cows, when you milk one cow, you want that cow to be comfortable. We try to treat every single cows an individual. So that's a win for me. Treating every cow as an individual."
