After thorough discussions with Agromatic’s West Coast Sales Manager the team selected Agro Air Dynamics 55-inch Cyclone fans with electronically commutated (EC) motors. These high-efficiency, direct drive systems were specifically chosen for their ability to move a large volume of air with minimal power usage, while also eliminating the maintenance headaches associated with belt-driven fans.
Unlike traditional models, these dairy barn ventilation fans provide smooth, even airflow throughout the facility helping to lower barn temperature, reduce humidity, and remove stale air. By creating a more stable microclimate for the herd, the fans play a key role in reducing animal stress and increasing productivity in a barn that runs continuously, 24 hours a day.
