Description
- 16′ to 20′ models have a one piece auger with a 4” tube. Maximum length for a one piece auger is 20’.
- 22′ and 24′ models have a two piece auger with a 2 3/8” tube and hanger bearing.
- Recommended maximum degree of incline for augers to be used in slurry type manure is 35 degrees. If a greater degree of incline is needed, a PVC auger cap is recommended.
- When sizing an auger length, always figure a usable length 18” shorter than the model length.
- EXAMPLE: 18’ usable length is 16’ 6”.
